The Military Ball is an annual function sponsored by the South High School JROTC program. The event is the culmination of a cadet's education in proper etiquette, customs, and courtesies as well as developing a good understanding of military protocol during a formal function. The event costs $25.00 per cadet and is open only to current high school students who are in JROTC. Cadets may bring a guest with the cost of an additional  $25.00. This event is chaperoned by the instructors of all the JROTC programs attending. This year's ball takes place on the 23rd of February at ChangePoint Multipurpose building. This is an enormous event for our cadets with most if not almost all the JROTC programs in the state attending. This is an exciting time for our cadets but they must remember this is a Formal Event and there are expectations on behavior and mannerisms.
